The International Dependency and Structure Modeling (DSM) Conference is an annual forum where practitioners, researchers, and developers come together to exchange ideas, share results, and discuss current trends in managing complex systems across different industries.
The conference originated from a series of workshops at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Engineering Design Centre at the University of Cambridge. Over time, it has developed into an international event, hosted by different institutions worldwide and supported by a growing community from academia and industry.
Today, the DSM Conference serves as a platform for collaboration and knowledge exchange, covering topics such as systems engineering, product development, organizational design, and digital applications of DSM. It also reflects current developments in the field, including the use of digital tools, data driven methods, and interdisciplinary approaches to complexity management.
